Better depends on what you want, Tony likes the 3 point but Matt and I like the single point slings. So its really on which you like the best.

The general designation seems to be that a 3-point sling distributes weight more effectively, but it's also got more straps and can get in the way. The 3-point is designed more for full-length rifles because it distributes the weight better and carries them at a more comfortable angle.
The 1-point is designed for smaller, lighter weapons (carbines/smg's/etc.) If you had a large heavy gun only attached by 1 clip/strap, that strap would be under a lot of stress, as would be your arms/shoulders. However, the 1-point has less material to get in the way, and is easier to maneuver in.
I personally like the 3-point sling, but that's because it's what I've always used and I've never had a problem with them. I do like the way 1-point slings look, and I'm ordering one from ASGI this week for my MP5. I think undoubtedly most people would choose a 1 or 3 point sling over a 2 point.

I have a 1 pnt now and work fine before I put the gernade launcher on my M4 and its getting on the heavy side and im getting worried about breaking the stock of my gun because all that weight is being carried that one point. Not mentioning the stock is adjustable and not one solid one.

I think the 3 point is the way to go.

Yeah, send Crossfire a PM. I'd help but I've only ever taken off my full stock, never my collapsible.
