Just want to say thanks to everyone who showed up. I had a blast as always, and hope you all did too. Favorite part by far was when it was snowing pretty bad, yet the sun was still out.
Cant wait to see the pictures.

I had a lot of fun shooting at all of you! I was glad to see that almost everyone who RSVP'd showed up despite the temperature and weather. It's a lot cooler to play in a white-out than I would have imagined. We had a really good turnout for this game, and it was almost the perfect amount of people to have at that field.
Only thing from a hosting standpoint that I feel I need to mention is the lack of adequate eye protection. That's really the only thing we require for these open plays, so it's crucial that people observe this rule. I didn't mind loaning out a few sets of goggles, but I can't equip everyone. At future open plays, a zero tolerance approach will be taken on this issue. If you show up without FULL SEALING, ANSI RATED goggles, you WILL NOT be allowed to play. Shop glasses, science goggles, and ski goggles will not be allowed. Accidents happen, and the last thing I want is someone to lose an eye because we made an exception.
Once again, thanks to everyone who came out. Everyone showed great sportsmanship and I look forward to playing with you all again. Any suggestions/recommendations for the next game are welcome and appreciated.

Yeah, I appologize for not having everyone I brought equipped with goggles. It was my fault, that was the first time that three of them had ever played airsoft and I forgot to tell them about the goggles, so we were running around at the last minute ttrying to find some form of adequite eye protection. I'll definitely make sure that everyone I bring to the next open play has goggles.
But we all had a great time too, despite the cold. The three beginners that I brought all really enjoyed themselves, and they're planning getting more into airsoft. Thanks for having us out, guys. We're looking forward to the next one.

Most paintball masks are fine, and easy to find. All you need to do is cut the goggles out of the mask.
