im looking to upgrade my spring in my JG mK36C to a SP150 spring to hopefully get a solid 400fps. is this a good idea? if so do i have to replace all the internals of my gun too or can i just replace the spring?

I wouldn't. A G36C is a weapon designed and well-suited for CQB. If you put a 400 fps spring in it, you'll never be able to use it in a CQB environment due to FPS and safety restrictions. So that will make it unusable in the environment it's best suited for. You'll have a high fps but the short barrel length will ultimately keep it from being on-par with the upgraded long-rifles in longer range or outdoor situations.
If you're dead-set on it, your JG should be able to handle it. Remember with upgraded springs comes more pressure and stress on your gears, piston, gearbox shell, motor, etc. While it will probably handle it initially, it will definitely shorten the life-span of some of the other components of your gearbox. If you put a stronger spring in it, it will almost certainly break sooner than if you hadn't.
I would put in a tightbore barrel and maybe a new hop-up bucking & nub to try to keep the shots consistently accurate and the fps just under 350.
If you want a gun shooting 400 fps, I'd suggest a longer rifle that will be overall more effective in situations where that high-fps is really warranted.

hmmmm wow, i never thought of the restrictions of a CQB event. Thanks Tony, so never mind about the upgraded spring
