D Boy Full Metal MK17H Airsoft Gun (Black) www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=8353Im fairly new to airsofting, getting to know the basics, and i have purchased my first AEG from airsoft GI. I received a hi-cap mag with my gun and its driving me up a wall with constantly winding the mag. I was wondering where to buy 1-3 mid-cap magazines for my new gun. The model of the gun is a SCAR. If that helps at all. If you have any help for me whatsoever feel free to message me personally or post here. Thank you for the help!

From the pictures it looks like it uses SR25 mags. Looking around at a few places, the only ones I can find in stock are G&P. I'm not sure if those will work with the D boys buns or not. I would call airsoftsmith and ask one of them.

They actually just look like the old school .223 20 round mags they used back in 'Nam. If that's the case, then most normal M4 mags should work with it. Like Stalion said, just give them a call.

This gun will NOT fit standard M4/M16 5.56 style mags. This is a replica of the SCAR-H and therefore the mags will be 7.62 style mags which are larger. Searching everywhere I am unable to find any mags specifically made for the SCAR-H, so I'm thinking Stalion may be correct about the SR-25 mags as they are the only 7.62 style mags that look like they may fit. FAL mags may work also. Best bet as has been already recommended is to call the AirsoftSmith retail store at 614-273-0812. They'll have the answers you seek and will surely be able to get you the mags at a good price.

They look right, but I would call to make sure they will work with your gun. There have been times in the past where only certain mags will work with certain guns.
